Welcome to Frienguide ("Frienguide", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the digital travel guides we sell (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About us

2. The Service

Frienguide provides curated, downloadable travel guides covering Syracuse, Sicily. Guides are delivered electronically as PDF files via a secure download link sent to the email you provide at purchase or signup.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not: (a) use it for unlawful purposes; (b) commit fraud or send spam; (c) infringe our or any third party's intellectual property; (d) interfere with the security or integrity of the Service (including via malware, probing, or scraping); or (e) redistribute, resell, or republish our guides without our written permission.

4. Intellectual property

The Service, including all guide content, branding, software, and design, is owned by Frienguide and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the guide(s) you purchase for personal use only.

5. Payments and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment terms, billing, tax, and related mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for refund details.

6. Service level

We work hard to keep the Service available and our guides accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Local businesses mentioned in our guides may change, close, or vary their offering at any time.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

8. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Guide content is provided for general informational purposes and reflects our personal, local opinions.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the guide in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
